Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book?
Booking is simple. Once you've selected an artist, you can enquire via our online form or contact us directly. We'll then provide a bespoke quote and guide you through the secure booking process, including contract and deposit details. To book we ask for 25% of the total fee as a deposit, with the final balance due 3 working days prior to the date of the event. Payment should be made via bank transfer or credit / debit card. For bookings made 1 month or under before the date of the event, full payment may be requested up front to confirm the booking.
Does the time I’ve booked include set up?
We do not charge for set up and pack down at either end of the booking. Our agreement with our musicians is that they will usually arrive at least 30 minutes before they are due to start playing in order to set up.
Do the artists provide their own equipment?
Yes, all our artists come fully equipped with high-quality instruments and professional sound systems suitable for most luxury indoor venues. For larger outdoor events or unique setups, we can discuss additional audio requirements.
Can I request specific songs?
Absolutely. Our artists aim to make your event personal. We kindly ask you to share specific song requests in advance, at least 3 days before the event/wedding day, so the artist can incorporate them into their performance for a truly unique experience.
Will the musicians need breaks?
Playing an instrument is an incredibly physically demanding activity. The longer the booking is, the longer the breaks
each hour will need to be:
1 hour booking – 15 minutes break after 45 minutes, unless otherwise agreed
2 hour booking – 2x45 minute sets
3 hour booking – 3x45 minute sets
4 hour booking – around 4x45 minute sets
If you need to book the musician for more than 4 hours, then an extended break may be needed – for a better idea of what would be needed for your event, let us know your timings as soon as possible.
When can I submit my song choices?
We start to discuss the song choices with artists straight after the booking is confirmed. If we haven’t already sent it during the booking process, we will send you over the repertoire list to select from. If they are playing for a wedding ceremony the important songs we need to know are the entrance, signing the register (2 or 3 songs here) and the exit.  We kindly ask you to share any new song requests that are not on the artist's repertoire list at least 3 weeks before the event/wedding day.
What will the musician be wearing?
Our musicians wear smart event appropriate attire (unless otherwise agreed). If you have a specific dress code or colour scheme for your event, please let us know.
Can we talk to our musician(s) before the event?
As part of our service, we liaise between client and musician to confirm all the finer details so we can ensure that everything is recorded properly on the booking information and nothing important goes missing. We generally pass over the musicians contact details for the day to you around 2 weeks before the event date so you can say hello to them around this time if needed.
Are the artists covered by Public Liability Insurance and do they use PAT-certified equipment?
Absolutely. For your peace of mind and compliance with luxury venue standards, all our performers carry comprehensive Public Liability Insurance. Furthermore, every piece of electrical equipment that needs to be plugged into the venue's sockets is PAT-tested. Please inform us of any specific documentation your venue requires.
